About Mowgli

Area: Kent            Breed: Brown Spotted Bengal        Age: 7+  years    Sex: Male               Fee:

These two extremely bonded cats were used as a breeding pair for the first five years of their life. They were caged and had no love or socialisation.
They were sold to a family who were told they were fine with children, but sadly they were, understandably, absolutely terrified of the children and after making brilliant progress with their confidence over a period of two years, their owner decided very sadly that their fear of the children had reached an unmanageable point and the best thing for the cats would be a new home.
They were rehomed to a quiet couple but sadly Mowgli has recently started urinating in their home, possibly because of the appearance of another cat in his territory.
The cats are loving and affectionate in time, and are terribly sweet, nosy and very noisy, but they will probably always suffer from anxiety and stress because of their extremely poor start. One way to address this might be to have a room that is very much theirs from the start and to keep them in that room overnight so they feel safe and don't feel the need to mark the house.
They need the most patient, gentle owners who can cope with their erratic behaviour and are happy to take the time needed to gain their trust and make friends with them.
Phizz and Mowgli are very adventurous cats, and once they are established in the home, they are likely to spend quite a lot of time outside racing around.
