About Thumper & Zeus
Area: Gloucester Breed: Bengal Age: 5 years Sex: Male Fee: £300 the pair
Their owner says... Both of my cats are 5 years old, neutered, microchipped, wormed, and vaccinated. They have sensitive stomachs so we have to feed them both a veterinary diet (Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Cat – Sensitivity Control Chicken) which can be ordered from places like pets at home or zooplus. If they are given things like felix or dreamies treats, they will get the runs. They can have Thrive free...ze dried chicken as treats.
Zeus is Brown Spotted and Thumper is Snow Spotted. They are both indoor cats and would need to stay this way as they haven’t ever been out and have been bred as indoor cats.
It would be great if they went to a home with a big house where they are able to roam free inside it. They didn’t sleep in our bed at night but liked sleeping on top or under it in the day. Thumper can open doors (he’s never tried an external door) so we have had to turn our door handles upside down on our room because we have a new baby and they want to get into his cot. The nursery has also been closed off to them so their home has shrunk.
They love boxes and they love to sit on your lap or next to you at night in the cooler months. They get on really well but have the odd scrap which is more play fighting then violent. They will sleep cuddled up in winter. They come when you call them. Zeus is very chatty and blinks back at you, he also plays fetch with his mouse. Zeus likes to be around people and will sit in the living room or wherever you are. He loves to play and never plays with his claws out. Thumper is more reserved and prefers hiding away in the day time unless it’s time for food of course. Thumper likes cat nip but it has no effect on Zeus. Thumper will also play but sometimes with claws out.
They have been great with our new baby but they do want to get into his pram and bed and amongst his things so it might be better if they went to a baby free home.
They haven’t met a dog before or another cat but they get on well with each other.
We have two really large cat Towers which would be happy for the new owners to also take if they want.
Getting them to the right home is the key here. We want them to be looked after and played with. My husband is away a lot with the military and it’s a lot more difficult to have time for them with the new baby.
Adoption fee: £300.00 the pair.
